To allow your arbitrage bot to trade on your behalf using your BitMart account, you'll need to create and connect special access keys called API keys. These keys provide a secure way for the bot to interact with your BitMart account without you having to directly log in each time. Here's how to do it:
Part 1: Creating API Keys in BitMart
Log in to your BitMart Account: Open your web browser and go to the official BitMart website (). Enter your email address or phone number and password to log in.
Navigate to API Management: Once you're logged in, look for your profile icon or a similar menu option (it might be in the top right corner). Click on it, and from the drop-down menu, select API Management.
Label Your API Key[Memo]: On the API Management page, you'll see a field to enter a Memo for your new API key. Type Arbique in this field. This will help you easily identify the purpose of this API key later.
Select API Restrictions: You will now need to choose the permissions for your API key. The specific permissions your arbitrage bot needs will depend on its functionality. Typically, it will require permissions to read information (like your account balance and market data) and place trades. Carefully review the options and select only those necessary for the bot to function. Do NOT enable Withdrawal permissions unless explicitly instructed by your bot provider and you fully understand the risks.
Enter Allowed IP Addresses: For enhanced security, it's highly recommended that you restrict the API key to only be accessible from specific IP addresses. In the designated field, enter the following IP addresses, separating each one with a comma (,
): 209.38.162.7,209.38.162.148,209.38.170.165
Submit API Key Creation: After entering the IP addresses, click the Submit button.
Complete Verification Steps: BitMart will now require you to complete security verification steps to confirm the creation of the API key. Follow the on-screen instructions:
Email Code: Click the Send button to receive a verification code at your registered email address. Enter the received code into the designated Email Code box.
Google Code: Open your Google Authenticator app on your phone or tablet. Enter the current code displayed in the app into the designated Google Code box.
Final Submit: Once you have entered both the Email Code and the Google Code, click the final Submit button.
Save Your API Key and Secret Key: After successful verification, BitMart will generate your API Key and Secret Key. It is extremely important that you copy both of these keys and store them in a safe place immediately. The Secret Key will only be shown to you once and cannot be retrieved again if you lose it. You will need to enter these keys into your Arbique account in the next steps.
